The diet has been linked to many health benefits including lower risk of cancer and heart disease, diabetes and a healthier gut. It is also ranked the easiest diet to follow. So remember to eat natural. Food with no label is the best label of all.

People become vegetarians for many reasons, including health growing concerns about animal welfare or the use of antibiotics and hormones in animals, religious convictions or simply a desire to eat clean in order to avoid excessive use of environmental resources.

Strictly speaking, vegetarians are people who don’t eat meat, poultry or seafood. You can get many of the health benefits of being vegetarian without going all the way. For example, you can plan your diet featuring an emphasis on plant foods or steer your diet in that direction with a few simple substitutions such as plant-based sources of protein, that is; eating beans, tofu, tempeh or seitan instead of meet a couple of times a week.
